Why does a lawn need to be overseeded?

For a fescue lawn, overseeding is paramount to maintain a full and lush lawn. Well maintained tall fescue is never allowed to reach its seeding stage, so the only way to replace growth is to manually apply seed.

What else needs to be done when overseeding?

Along with overseeding, we highly recommend aeration and our fertilization applications.

How often does my yard need to be watered once its overseeded?

In order to ensure maximum germination rates and the best results, we recommend watering daily for the first 3 weeks. If an irrigation system is present, we can program the system to water daily.

How often should I have my lawn overseeded?

Generally speaking, overseeding should be performed once a year, in the fall to establish and maintain a strong and healthy yard.
